Went to the Purple Rain Sing-A-Long in Prospect Park last night for B’s birthday. Was very cool.

The movie is fun, but also intense. B rented this movie from the grocery store when she was about 11 years old. She was apologetic for the Kid’s terrible actions. The Kid punches Apollonia after she’s just given him his dream guitar: “You guys! He has a really hard home life!”

I love the Abbot-and-Costello-esque exchange between Morris and his lackey. “What’s the password?” “Ok.” I died lauging.
