Having a three-day weekend is nice, but the remaining four-day work week is disorienting and rushed. Is this Tuesday or Wednesday?

Going to play paintball with work people and a bunch of people from an agency tonight. We’re all riding in a party bus out to queens, having a few beers on the way. Should be fun! Hopefully I can confirm that it was tomorrow. (Sucks that B leaves for L.A. for five days tomorrow and tonight is her last night in town.)
Update: Confirmed. Fun. Have a few small welts, but I think I nailed some people pretty well too. Think it would be more fun outside on a bigger course, but was still awesome. Also learned what a bear fight was at the bar afterward: take an irish car bomb (black bear), a jager bomb (brown bear), and a white russian (polar bear), and slam them back to back. I passed on that fun.
I will be out of the office this afternoon on a pub crawl in the West Village with my new team at work. Team building is easier when you’re tipsy.
Next day update: Jerry Yang, CEO, showed up to hang out for a little while. Was very cool.

I was given an award at work this week. The reward is that Becky and I get an expenses-paid trip to the Ritz-Carlton on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands for four days and three nights in October. OMG, what?! For real.

Flickr founders Caterina Fake and Stewart Butterfield have decided to leave Yahoo! The most awesome thing about this is Stewart Butterfield’s resignation letter.
Yahoo-Google Deal Advances. Hopefully I will have a job when I get home from Germany in two weeks.
